The Department of Music offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, a Bachelor of Music degree with two areas of concentration, performance and music education, and a Bachelor of Science degree in music technology. The Bachelor of Arts degree is especially useful for students wanting to do a double major in a pre-professional course of study. A Minor in Music or Music Technology is also available

An equivalent course to Theater 10 transfers from other institutions, but it is rare to transfer other credits because comparable courses are seldom found. This minor is for those who want to complement their skills and increase their career options. An audition and a minimum 2.0 g.p.a. is required for all courses in the minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser. This minor is not available to students majoring in Music Performance or Music Education.
