Various aspects of the music and new media industries and the production of new media products are features of this course. There is equal emphasis on audio and visual content. You will develop a combination of creative, technical skills and knowledge and have the opportunity to develop your own personal digital portfolio of work while you explore the definitions and boundaries of new media. As you progress, you will produce a music and new media production of professional standard relevant to a specialism of your choice. Group work often involves working with others across Innovation North's creative courses.

Music Technology involves the examination of innovative sound and audio effects technology as used in the arts and cultural industries including contemporary music, performing arts, visual arts, and live installations (`VJ?s?, club installations etc.)
Those from a technical and arts background will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with visual designers, programmers and technologists. You will develop a range of tools and techniques for music performance, composition and audio processing.
