Bachelor in Music Theatre at University Of Miami
The mission of the Bachelor of Music Degree in Musical Theatre is to (1) provide the
highest quality of education possible in the areas of singing, acting and dancing that
will foster a professional performance career in musical theatre; (2) provide
performance opportunities that integrate the skills learned in music and theatre classes
and to foster creativity and research; (3) assist the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre
productions by providing musical direction, rehearsal pianists, conductors and
instrumentals; and (4) provide the skills for managing the non-performance aspects of
a professional career.
